Currently there is limited data supporting the use of peri-urethral bulking agents in men with post-prostatectomy incontinence. The gold standard is placement of an artificial urinary sphincter, with male slings providing an alternative option for men with mild symptoms. In this video, we outline the steps for peri-urethral bulking, using Bulkamid, for a man with recurrent stress urinary incontinence after placement of an AdVance male sling.
