Target Audience
This activity is designed for urologists, urology practice professionals, and physicians and surgeons of affiliated disciplines, primarily in the New England urological community.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity the learner should be able to:
- Identify basic scientific and clinical research that may advance urological clinical performance
- Discuss the diagnosis and management options for urologic disorders and recent changes in guidelines for screening and treatment of these disorders
- Recognize and manage complications of laparoscopic and robotic surgery
- Evaluate new techniques for improving patient safety with regards to urological patients
- Apply advances in reconstructive urology, urological oncology, and pediatric urology
- Describe new surgical procedures as well as their respective risks and benefits
- Discuss the latest socioeconomic issues affecting ones daily urological practice
